The response to a NHS Complaint.

I sent a complaint against Dr R in the orthopaedic clinic on 10th July.

I quote from their website

What happens after I have made a formal complaint?

We will send you a letter acknowledging your complaint within 2 working days.

After the complaint has been investigated you will receive a full response from the Chief Executive. You should receive the response within 20 working days of making the complaint. If there is going to be a delay we will write to you and explain why.

I rang on the 1st August to ask why I had not received ANY responses to be told “they were moving offices” but that they had received my complaint. Seems those employees do not follow their promises as above.

It is no wonder Medical Incompetence is rife in the Welsh NHS if this is their response to a complaint against a doctor.  Although the response to my complaint against Dr A shows that the NHS will do anything to avoid finding a doctor to be at fault. EVEN at the expense of destroying NHS dentistry.
